Works well

Took the 3 I bought cat fishing so far. Dropped them in and right off caught a 2 pounder. Ended up losing one to bottom structure and caught several small cats that all came in to the bait. Took the blood bait and put three or four in the basket and set the hook with the same bait. Only the first cat was what we call a keeper and had plenty of nibbles and bait stolen. Worked as expected.

Bait Cage - Fishing Rig Attachment

I bought this item for my September beach trip so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. However, it arrived quickly and looks awesome! I can't wait to use it!

extra bait

the bait trap was a great time. it proved to be better as family was on one side of boat w/trap and other side w/out. after catching more w/trap we switched sides and the fishing was still more productive than the side w/out. great item to have in your box, and i wouldn't go w/out it..:)

Description

Perfect for fishing with shrimp, clams or cut bait– simply use your discarded heads, guts and other parts you would ordinarily throw away and put them in the cage instead! 

You can attach this Bait Cage Fishing Rig Attachment in a variety of ways, but we suggest it to be used best in combination with our Catch-All Hi/Lo Rigs. Attach the Bait Cage to the swivel at the bottom of your Hi/Lo fishing rig, and then put your sinker on the bottom swivel.   

Made of lightweight stainless steel, this Bait Cage Fishing Attachment  is rust-proof, durable, and can be cast over far distances with ease. Tied with a steel leader so nothing can chew through the line.
