5 piece surf rod 2nd edition

Bought one to check out quality. It was built well and has a great feel to it. Will be used for winter whiting fishing in Texas. I have used it once at Matagorda my wife took it over and I had to buy another one for myself. The rod is light weight and strong. I think it will be good for surf perch in Oregon also.

Sensitive 5-Piece Rod - Great for Travel

I've only used this rod for a few days on the SoCal surf, but I was very impressed with the sensitivity of the rod on small yellowfin croakers and surf perch. The rod handled small leopard sharks and stingrays easily, but I'd be very curious to see how it performed on some bigger fish. I have a lot of multi-piece travel rods, so I was happy to add this 5-piece rod to my travel rod arsenal. This was great to strap to my backpack when I hiked down to the beaches. This rod will definitely be coming with me on my next flight. The rod easily handled casting out 3 oz pyramid sinkers all day long.
